A plain-language statement of what we believe our church is, why we exist, what we are sent to do, how each Saint participates, what we value, and how we function together day by day. It is written without legal language — the legal version of the same content lives in our Constitution and is the document our regulator sees.
This document is a white-label reference. It is offered with placeholder language ("our church", "this body") so that any body who finds it useful can take it, name themselves where the placeholders are, adapt the specifics, and use it as their own. It carries the framework of the Sonrise Revival Series in everyday words so that every Saint of the body — children, new believers, mature elders, friends of the body who have not yet committed — can read it and understand what this church is and what walking with us means.
A note on the Constitution
A separate document — our Constitution, lodged with the relevant regulator — sets this same content out in legal language for the purposes of incorporation, charity registration, financial reporting, and other regulatory matters. Where this document and the Constitution speak to the same matter, they say the same thing in different vocabularies.
The two are not in tension. The Constitution is the legal scaffolding; this document is the everyday plain-language guide. Both serve the same Body, under the same Head, for the same Purpose, walking in the same Commission, growing in the same Mission, and shaped by the same Values.
