A work held in trust for the universal Church — so that what the Holy Spirit is beginning can outlast any one of us.
A work we steward, not own
Sonrise Revival is available to the universal Church, and its growth is just beginning. It is our hope and prayer that it sweeps the Church — by the work of the Holy Spirit — into revival. These seeds have been planted, and we are dedicated to watering them and seeing growth.
We are custodians and ambassadors of this work, not its owners. To that end, it is our desire that this work lives on beyond time itself — beyond the lifespan of any one person.
That is where a Foundation can help: a legal entity of its own, set up to hold the resources to assist every church across the world to lead revival in every town and place.
Where things stand today — plainly
The Foundation does not exist yet. Today the work is administered personally by Daniel Pleiter, the series administrator — there is not yet a separate legal entity, a board, or trustees, and we will not pretend otherwise. Establishing the Foundation as an independent entity — one that holds the Framework and the Engaged Church mark beyond any one person, with its own governance and published finances — is the planned next step, and the same transparency this Framework asks of an Engaged Church will be practised by the Foundation from its first day.
Until then, a gift to this work is a personal gift, arranged directly and recorded in writing to you — it is not tax-deductible, and accountability is the direct, personal kind: you will know exactly whom you gave to and what it is being used for.
