Church Sponsorship
A church can go further than the free journey and cover the Family and Elder memberships for its saints — so cost is never a barrier to a stronger household or a resourced elder. The church gives; the member keeps full control.
The individual journey is free — always
No saint ever needs to pay to take part. The whole five-movement journey — the Spiritual Gifts assessment, your results, reflections, community confirmation and your calling, plus all five volume PDFs — is free forever, with no card and no time limit. The platform works, in full, on a free individual membership.
That free account is also what makes the whole model work at low cost. When individuals consent — under their own free account — to share their confirmed gifts and calling, their elders and the Engaged Church gain the church-wide picture they need to shepherd and plan. So a church can see and organise the gifts of its whole body without any saint being charged to take part or to be counted. The paid tiers are never the price of participation, or of being seen by your church.
The Family subscription is a different thing: it brings substantial benefits directly to the household — the shared view of one another’s gifts, the couples tools, parent and guardian oversight, and the templates to disciple your home over years. That real value to families is why it is priced where it is. Church Sponsorship simply lets the eldership value and support that too — covering the Family (and the elder’s own Elder workspace) for its people, because a church that prizes strong families can carry the cost right alongside them.
Advocating for stronger families
The home is the first place every gift, every calling, and every leader is formed. The Family tools exist to help households disciple one another intentionally — spouses growing together, parents forming their children, a shared record kept and revisited over years rather than once.
When a church covers Family for its households, it is investing directly in stronger families — the backbone of a strong church. It is a way for the eldership to say: we want every home in this body equipped to disciple its own, not only the homes that can spare the fee. Sponsorship turns a private cost into a shared act of building up the church, household by household.
Resourcing those who lead
The Elder tier is where a church’s operational life runs — the annual plan, the ministry planning portal, the church-wide gifts picture, and communications to the saints. When a church commits to the platform as the operational tool that supports its work, its elders need to be on it to carry that work.
Asking each elder to shoulder that cost personally can be a real barrier — eldership is often served sacrificially, and bivocationally. Sponsoring the Elder subscriptions removes it: the church resolves the financial barrier to eldership participation, so no elder is kept from the tools by personal cost. Where the church itself instigates the commitment — adopting the platform as its operational backbone — covering its elders is simply part of that decision: this is our platform for the work, and we will resource those who lead it.
And it changes none of the framework’s flat governance. Each elder still signs in to their own personal workspace and holds their own login; the church covers the fee but gains no central account and no shared control. Sponsorship pays for access to the work — never authority over it.
The church gives; the member chooses
A discount still obligates the person to pay the rest — a church-driven gift should not. So the church always offers to cover the whole cost, and the member decides how much of that gift to accept.
The church offers to cover it
The eldership turns on cover-in-full for Family and/or Elder — for any saint who asks, or a chosen few. Its offer is always the whole cost.
The member accepts
The member accepts the full gift (free) — or, if they're able and wish to, chooses to contribute a share. They are never asked to pay anything.
Unlocked, billed to the church
The plan activates immediately; the cost goes on the church's invoice. Full control stays with the member.
Either side can stop
The church or the member can end it at any time. The plan simply reverts to self-pay — nothing is deleted, no journey is lost.
A member who is able may choose to chip in.
The gift is real and free. If a household or elder would like to contribute a share — 25%, 50% or 75%, with the church covering the rest — they can, easing the church’s cost. It is a grace they may offer, entirely their choice, and never a condition of taking part.
Every safeguard, in the open
Sponsoring a member gives the church no extra visibility and no control over their account, household, or data. Consent, sharing, and cancellation all stay entirely the member's. Only the payer changes.
A church-driven gift should be whole — it never asks a saint to pay a share, so no one is quietly obligated.
Take it in full (free), contribute an optional 25/50/75%, or pay entirely themselves — always the member's choice, never a condition.
The church chooses to offer it; the member chooses to accept. No one is auto-enrolled.
A sponsored elder still has their own personal login and workspace; the church pays the fee but holds no central account and no shared control.
If the church stops, or a member leaves the church, the plan moves to self-pay with a clear notice — the member keeps their data and can continue by subscribing themselves.
Sponsorship comes with Engaged Church
Church Sponsorship is part of an Engaged Church membership — the church-wide tier that also carries the benchmark surveys, the ministry planning portal, and the full preaching and training library. The individual journey stays free for everyone; sponsorship is the church choosing to carry the paid layers for its people too.
