The Framework is free. The Platform is what is paid. Every document and gift profile is free to read on-site, and all the volume PDFs are free to download with a free account — what a subscription buys is the tools: the shared views, the records, the surveys and the planning engine. Families pay only to share with each other. Elders subscribe personally — there is no central church account and no central admin, by design. Christ-led Flat Governance, priced the way it is practised.

Why no church account?
Because the Framework teaches Christ-led Flat Governance: Christ at the head, a team of elders equal beneath Him, personal accountability, and no central administrator. The subscription model practises what the Series preaches — each elder accountable for their own subscription, every member in control of their own consent. Children under 18 take part only within a Family account, with a parent or guardian’s consent.
Priced to maintain a safeguard.
The point of the Platform design is protection. Because leadership and finances are held to account by publishing for all to see, there is no shadow for the one-man show, hidden money, or quiet drift to grow in — the transparency and independent verification itself is the safeguard. And it is made to be within reach: free to begin, simple to follow, and the same whether your church is five or five hundred. What you pay only keeps each level standing honestly on its own.
What does it cost a whole church? A worked example.
Take a church of around 150 people with five elders. Each elder subscribes personally: 5 × $24.95 = $124.75 a month for the whole eldership (or 5 × $254.40 = $1,272 a year on annual billing). That also sets the church’s capacity: five elders × 30 invitations = 150 individuals or families — capacity scales with the eldership, so a larger church simply has more elders.
Engaged Church is an optional addition on top — it never replaces the elders’ own subscriptions. Adding it brings the total to $124.75 + $94.95 = $219.70 a month (about $2,231 a year on annual billing) for the full preaching library, the benchmark surveys, the Ministry Planning Portal and the path to the Engaged Church mark.
Every saint’s own account stays free at any scale. Family subscriptions ($9.95 a month per household) are optional and personal — and through Church Sponsorship an Engaged Church can cover them so cost is never a barrier.
