How to read Approach B

What follows is a complete draft Constitution drafted from the ground up around the framework set out in the Sonrise Revival Series. It is written in plain language where the Model Rules use legal jargon, integrates the spiritual eldership and the diaconate structurally rather than as amendments, and follows a sequence that begins with the spiritual identity of the church and only then addresses the legal scaffolding.

As with Approach A, this document must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before adoption. The plain-language drafting style here is deliberate but it does not relieve the body of the obligation to ensure that the Constitution complies with the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Vic) and the regulations made under it. Where this draft is silent on a matter required by the Act, the lawyer reviewing it will need to add the missing provisions or confirm that the Model Rules apply by default.
